As we looked to the past Before Christ Exist, the surroundings were 75% greenery and the remaining was blue; as it represents the land and water.
The world was full of nature. A lot of trees, big open field, clear seas and oceans, and a clean environment.
In the Philippines, this became our great asset and leads us to become agricultural country.
Farming and Fishing are the main source of income of the Filipinos back then. There are a lot of farmers and fishermen in our country that we can call “unsung heroes”, without them we wouldn’t have and eat the foods that they planted and the fishes they caught. Those people are patient and hard-working as they are working in a sunny day and risking their life to go to the ocean.
Our country is rich in terms of natural resources.
We have a lot of animals that are producer of our foods.
Today, the natural resources are slowly fading away and depleting.
Just like today’s issue, we are the exporter of the rice back then, now we import rice from other countries to supply our daily needs in our country.
People should give attention to the scarcity that we are facing.
In picture below, we can see a rice field from Nueva Ecija.

As we continue to modernize our country, we slowly losing our agricultural place.
We losing it by continue to cut trees that leads to deforestation just to build buildings and industries.

In this year, we can see a lot of buildings in our surroundings. We continue to make our country modernize so we can go and compete with the rising countries.
A whole wide world has been changed.
The 75% greenery was only now 10%.
Infrastructures dominates our place.
Because of the change that happened, we forget to pay attention to the blessings that we have received, the beauty of our mother Earth.
We have a lot of nature attractions that we should be proud of.
The mountains, oceans, water falls, seas and many more.
Because of the modernization, the nature would only be seen in the provinces, away from the Metro.
Because of a lot of man-made creation, people divert their attention to trendy places than the mother nature.
